Great kettle, January 9, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: OXO Good Grips Click Click Tea Kettle, White (Kitchen) I gave this tea kettle to my daughter for Christmas and she tells me that it is easy to fill and clean. The trigger mechanicism works easily. It is lightweight but sturdy. The tea kettle now lives in New Jersey where it is making lots of tea to help keep my daughter warm throughout the winter.

Unlike many other "names" these days who have down-graded their products in quality, durability and engineering while preserving a slick look (think Braun and Cuisinart), this item is first rate: heavy-duty, you won't burn your hands, and it really whistles -- if you care. A tea-kettle should be idiot simple, right? Just try some of the junk being sold. If there are minor quibbles with the OXO Click Click, I would say it could be slightly larger and somewhat easier to fill without removing the top.

Finally I have a kettle that whistles, June 2, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: OXO Good Grips Click Click Tea Kettle, White (Kitchen) I have had several kettles in the past but this is the first one I've owned that whistles even though all the others claimed to whistle, they all stopped whistling after a few months. This kettle is big enough to make a nice pot of tea but my usual use for it is to boil water for the travel mug of tea I take with me to work every morning. It also is easy to clean any spatters off the exterior since it is enameled.
